Our journey in faith to adopt this little boy Josiah from China

Josiah, or Yang Heng Hai, was an orphan from China who is a wonderful, patient, sweet, and ingenious little boy who was in need of a family. We felt the Lord calling us to bring this beautiful child into our family, and He provided beautifully. Some people would call Josiah a special needs child. Others, a child with special needs. To us he is just special. Josiah was born without the use of either of his arms and had 2 club feet. However, Josiah has been able to overcome these things and do many amazing things.

More Pictures @ Home





Here are some more pictures of Josiah at home. Rememeber, he has 2 older sisters, I'm sure his face will be painted with more than this before it is all said and done. I have asked Paris to paint his face as she is a very good artist and the last time she painted her face as a cat, it was perfect.

    Thanks for sharing your trip to china and the updates at home!
    I am so encouraged to see how you are living out your faith and seeing how Josiah has fit in so perfectly with your family.

    By the way, did you know that Blossom from harmony house has a family?
    The blog is called Along the Blossom Trail. I found out through another blog.
    God is calling people to care fornthe least of these and his people are saying yes!
